6th Street Pizza and Grill

As you can see by the pic above, this pie is a molten mess, with a landslide of loose cheese coagulating over the crust. Just as annoying as the sloppy presentation, who cuts a circular pizza into 12 slices? We all know 8 is the standard number of slices for a traditional pie. As unappetizing as this pizza looks, it actually tastes even worse. The texture of the dough is on par with cardboard, equally tasteless, not crispy, not soft, not anything like pizza dough, along with a flavorless rubber-like crust. The cheese is a greaseball of goop, a liquidy, salty, nauseating ooze, basically saline slathered slop. The flavor of the sauce is MIA; it’s not good, it’s not bad, it’s not really there. Salty oil is the only flavor that punches through, unpleasantly to say the least. Just an overall disaster of a pie, putrid pizza I wouldn’t even feed to the seagulls. The only way I was able to choke a slice down was with a ton of garlic powder, Parmesan & crushed red pepper. Adding all that flavor salvaged some of this abysmal boardwalk pizza from going directly in the garbage. Probably goes without saying but stay far away from the pizza at this joint. Hopefully their other food off the grill is much better.
