Completely average pizza 6.8. It’s totally fine, but nothing special. Thin, not too crispy or crunchy. Enough chewy without being too doughy. It’s got not enough sauce or cheese. Not sure what the hype is around this play. Way too expensive as well.

🍕 Piccante : Margherita with Maestro’s spicy soppressata, garlic, Calabrian chile, honey 💸 $10 💭 I feel like 800° is under new management with their updated menu and the fact I don’t remember their pizza being this good. Maybe because I’ve only had it late night in Santa Monica after a few too many beers at Bungalow. Regardless, their new menu looks fantastic and their pizza is legit. Don’t hate on it because you think it’s a chain and overhyped because everyone only eats it drunk. This Piccante was awesome and a steal for $10. Don’t forget to ask for the honey drizzle. It adds that something special. 100% Recommended 👍🏼
