Crust was more chewy than crispy. Enjoyed the cheese and sauce taste. Also a very traditional atmosphere inside the restaurant.

Palace special.... 6.2, have never eaten it before. Not worth the money in my mind. Crust is like cardboard, sauce is without tang, the cheese and toppings were decent, but not good enough to make up for where this lacked. That's too bad because the restaurant seemed really authentic. 6.2 fair score, decent pizza, not worth the price.

Alright Frankie, this is by far the best pizza in Iowa city. Tell your sister about it. One bite and you’ll know the rules.

This pizza was incredibly overpriced for what you get. Crust was bland and tasted like cardboard. Sauce was a little sweet but was not enough. Cheese was fantastic I must say. Overall a nice quality frozen pizza in the $8 range at a grocery store tastes about just as good as this pizza. Definitely among the best pizza in Iowa city but that doesn’t say much. Go to Chicago or New York if you care about good pizza.

Great pizza. Love that this is the only thing on the menu. No salad, no apps, just pizza.

Pricey but pleasant. Flavor is some of the best in the game.

My favorite pizza place in the world. They literally only serve pizza. No sides, salads, apps or anything. You can see the guys making the pizza in an assembly line in the front window of the place. I used to eat it once a week for a good portion of a decade and always have it when I’m back in town. At one point, my family came in so often they had a photo up of my siblings and I behind the register. I know it’s unorthodox, but I highly recommend a sausage pizza. It has a crispy crust, tangy sauce and just the right amount of toasted spots on top. If dining in, let it rest for ~2 minutes or risk burning your taste buds off. Some people will ask for well done, cut in squares, etc. Blasphemy. Also, don’t be fooled by the Paglias locations in other cities (Des Moines is not as good).

Probably the best pizza in Iowa City. Warm and cozy feeling inside the restaurant. Great for pickup or a cheap date.
