A & B Pizza - North Bismarck

Not a fan, though I ate the whole thing (9”) mainly because I had to wait over a half an hour for it! Lots of carry out orders which is a smart move but probably why I waited so long in the first place. Reason why I’m not a fan: THE CRUST. Period. I’d probably give this a much better score if not for the crust. It’s “unique” though not unlike a crust you’d find in the frozen section of the grocery store. Think Tombstone Original non-rising crust pizza. I didn’t necessarily mind the crispiness but it really lacked any flavor beyond a slight char. The toppings were good, generous portions, tangy sauce, not too much cheese....nothing there not to like honestly but totally let down by the base. Let’s face it, crust will make or break a pie for most people. I’m in Bismarck for work so maybe it’s a tradition around here. If I were coming to visit again and a local suggested we come here for a pie, I’m not going to throw a fit bit I wouldn’t come here again on my own volition.
