I’ve had enough pizza in my lifetime to know what quality is. What A Slice Of NY did was take something from the quality NY Pizza, make it their own, and improve upon it. They really did. You have the perfect amount of crisp and chew, VERY quality sauce the cheese is on point. The fresh basil adds to the flavor. I’ve been there a few times. The only reason I didn’t score it a 10 is because the first time I had it, it was one of the best slices I’d ever had, and then he improved on it somehow. The owner. Sean, works tirelessly and passionately perfecting his craft. The pizza is truly made with Love and so fresh. If you’re in the area, You need to live there. If you’re passing by, you have to make a stop. If you’re a pizza connoisseur, you MUST get there. This pizza would rock Portnoy’s world. He better get there.

One of the best NY style pizzas I’ve had. I’m a more Detroit/sicilian kind of guy, but top tier flavors. Sourdough as the crust might not be for everyone but the cheese is best part. Try it before he leaves!

Most of the time when I see New York in the name I am skeptical. This place is the real McCoy. Hands down the best pizza in western PA

As the name says..this is truly a slice of New York pizza. The most authentic New York style pizza around the Pittsburgh area or really the tri state area. Good amount of sauce and a very cheesy slice. Chewy, thin crust. Folds perfectly. Traveled over an hour to get there and it’s worth it. Little bit of grease but it doesn’t drip off, I would prefer a little more crisp/char but overall a perfect NY pie.

Ignore the fact that this pizza is on the ground. I brought it too my uncle and he sat down on the driveway to eat some. Lol Didn’t have any drinks for my very salty pie. THE GOOD I loved the stringy cheese and the charred crust and overall crunchiness of the pie. Pepperoni had a premium that I have trouble describing. THE BAD This pie suffered from one two things. It’s very salty and the sauce is a tad bit too sweet for my liking. I’ve had pizza from all over the US. This was the first pie I ever had that salt content was issue. It’s an good pizza and it’s definitely better than a lot of the competition around. But definitely not the best. My girlfriend gave it a 9. (Rookie score) Uncle gave it a 6.6 I give it a

Ordered the plain cheese pizza and garlic knots This is one outstanding pizza. The homemade crust was cooked perfectly and allowed for easy holding and when biting, the cheese stayed on the crust. Delicious! This sauce is light and only adds to the pure satisfaction. I highly recommend A Slice of New York pizza!

Quite literally one of the best Pizza spots in PGH/Western Pa area. Fresh ingredients with phenomenal taste! No flop, terrific undercarriage and crunch! It’s a knockout! Keep it up Sean and A Slice of New York team! Dave, get your ass here!

Pictured is their white pie, but above all- their cheese pie is NY authentic. Anywhere else claiming to be in the Pittsburgh area is lying & the owner Sean himself is from NYC. Great flavor, stretch, and the dough is to die for. You won’t regret trying it and they sell out fast!
