New location Eda’s Pizzeria in Lucky Trading Co. featuring New Haven Apizza and damn is it spot on down to the Foxon Park soda!!! Not only do you look at this pie and think NH but the smell too as well as the cut. The crust is everything you’d expect, thin, charred with that specific flavor from the dough. The sauce is tangy, garlicky really everything I love in a sauce complimented I’m sure by the addition of grated cheese. Perfectly melding with the sauce is a generous amount of motz that has the calling card of grande but not confirmed, it just has that special bite very few pizzas can replicate and reminded me of the first bites last time I was at Pepe’s. To only be open offering pizzas since September this place has already got it down to a science and I gotta say this is possibly in the contention for best of Philly.
