Acqua e Farina Pizzeria

I’ve lived in Syosset my whole life and have never known about this pizzeria. It’s a family owned place and everyone was super friendly. The pizza was very good as well. Only suggestion would be for the pizza to be more well done. That would definitely bump up the score.

This was simply not very good. At the same time, take a look at my pizza compared to the others. I’m led to believe this was just a bad product instead of a bad pizza place. It was doughy af, very sloppy to eat. Sauce was pretty bland. Maybe I just caught them on an off day but a score is a score

The best pizza on Long Island. Cross between Roman & Neopolitan style. Dave, you gotta try this. Worth the trip.

12 inch personal pies from a wood fired oven. Nice variety of pies at this spot. This was the margherita. Good char on the crust. The sauce really made the pie for me, was definitely the highlight. Felt the dough was very evenly spread so the first bites of a slice have a bit more dough. Overall a very good pie.

I saw the enormous score that this place has, and I had to run here as quixk as possible to see what it waa all about 1. Very nice friendly owners, they were telling us about their connection to Maine, and President Bush. 2. They cook out of a brick oven, and what they gave us was perfectly done. 3. The dough was a bit floppy, but it doesn't bother me. Cheese was very good. The sauce was ok but a bit acidic tasting. A slight tweak to their sauce recipe could get them into the middle 8's

Great pizza and great family owners. Definitely try the Blueberry, unexpectedly amazing. Unlike anything I've ever had.

Very high quality pie. Sauce is near perfect, and the cheese was creamy and flavorful. The crust is very good, but I could have used a minute or two more cook for some additional crisp. I don’t like oregano, but the oregano they used here is fresh and obviously high quality. Nicest people, too.

Originally from Brooklyn b4 moving to Long Island I considered myself a connoisseur of great pizza . That changed with my many trips to Italy over the years Every region in Italy claimed they had the best whether Naples or Florence or Venice or Rome . And each one had there fair share of fine pizzas . Never in the US have I found anything close to the pizzas in Italy until I tried aqua e farina in Syosset . Luca the owner, originally from Rome, dishes compare to the finest pizzas I’ve ever tasted anywhere. Everything is made in a true Italian wood burning oven . Even his wings which have no equal are wood burned not fried and are sensational. You know you are being served quality when the prosciutto in the panini is from Parma . His homemade tiramisu and pan a cotta rival anything I’ve tasted anywhere . There is a reason he was the personal chef of our former presidents bush 41 and 43 . This place is truly a gem not to be missed . Michelin 3 stars

So delicious!!! Great looking pie and tastes better than it looks. Don’t put it in a box, you’ve got to eat it straight out of the oven in the pizzeria.

Pies only, order ahead. The taste was good but not my favorite Neapolitan I have had. This is good but not my favorite style either. Solid

From Roma in KPT to Long Island. I have travelled many a mile to eat Luca’s pizza. By far and away the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Took me 2 years to find out where he moved once I found out Roma closed in Maine. Hundreds of google searches later I found him in Long Island and the 5 hour car ride was taken. The Pizza and the family are second to none. I’d go to China for this pizza if I had to. Recommend the Pistachio or Giuseppe.

Not usually my type of pizza but i have to say it was pretty good. A little flop. Good under carriage and crunch.

Not a slice pizza shop, 12 inch personal pies - Great looking pizza, could have been a little more well done for my personal preference. No flop, Dough tasted fresh, sauce tasted homemade and the cheese didn't string much. A little oil. This is like if a football pizza met a bar style pizza and they fucked, this is that pizza. Very enjoyable, would definitely eat again, great people inside,worth a drive

Solid pizza

Satisfying Neapolitan style in Syosset where New York style dominates. Good for area but I wouldn't travel for it. Floppy, crust needs more crunch.
