Ah-Beetz New Haven Pizza

A tiny bit loose near the center. A little more flop than stool presidente got back when he reviewed this spot. But the flavor was great. Perfectly charred crispy crust. Might have been closer to a nine without the center flop. Great New Haven pizza here in Delray.

Sauce was unreal

I was very enthusiastic because I always looked up to this guy for being a pizza expert. I am so disappointed I watched any of his reviews now. The pizza was cold and the sauce is sour and bitter. The char I don’t mind. If the pizza was hot it may have been good. It comes soggy. I prefer my pizza place from the family business in upstate ny and even the one I had last time. I might not be a New Haven fan. Why would they even make this?

Couldn’t be what Dave scored… this was disappointing. I have to say first time I came it was packed and the pizza was a 8.2 but now it’s empty and I know why!! It’s a 4.2 all the way.

Great pie. The sauce was phenomenal with a great balance of cheese and pep. Not the biggest fan of coal fired pizza but the crust had a nice crunch to it.

First time here, came all the way up from Pompano to give it a try. Solid pie,definitely was worth the trip up. Will be back to dine in next time and grab a salad too. Delicious. Fair score, great pie!

I never knew that New Haven Pizza was a thing until this app. It was really good totally agree with Dave’s review of it. Slightly greasy but I like that. Undercarriage was a little lighter than his video but still nice. Sauce was sweet and no flop!

Great char on the crust sauce and cheese are very good was a little greasy maybe was because we did a large 16in and not a 12in

I was expecting better based on the reviews. My pizza had good char but it was super floppy and the cheese slid right off when you pick up a slice. It may have been better if I ordered the traditional slice without the mozzarella. Pizza and sauce had good flavor.

South Florida review. One Bite aggregate was spot on here. Excellent New Haven style pizza. Well done with an excellent ratio of sauce and cheese. Had the white pie as well. I’d go 7.9 on the white pie.
