Ah-Beetz New Haven Pizza-Delray Beach

The photograph is the pizza I did not get to eat. I know Dave was here a few days ago and his review has not been posted yet. I wish he would’ve been present this evening to witness the unbelievable rudeness of one of the employees to several customers. one table, walked out, furious with the way another customer was being treated (me). I called to place an order. I was placed on hold, which was nothing more than them, putting the phone on the counter because I could overhear everything. after five minutes they hung up the phone. So, I placed my order on arrival, although even that was difficult, and several employees ignored me standing at the counter. Yes, they were busy and they are relatively new business so I did not complain . when I placed the order I was told by one person that it would take 30 minutes and then by another 15–20 minutes. There are some chairs outside for people who are waiting. There is not a lot of room inside. I told the person taking my order that I would wait outside. wait staff walked past me for a good 30– 40 minutes without checking on my order. Finally, as I was about to go in to ask, I was approached turned out my pizza was ready 30 minutes earlier and had been sitting . before I could even complain, a rude young lady, who seemed to be running things, told me it was my fault for not coming through the door to check on my pizza. She was pretty rough around the edges, and I wanted to cut her some slack, but some other patrons were so taken aback by the way, she was speaking to me that they left, and came back about five minutes later to tell her off again. I left with my cold pizza. The woman came after me again telling me it was my fault and what did I want her to do for me. I didn’t want her to do anything for me . of course what she should have done is immediately apologized and thrown another pizza in the oven. This pizza may be very good, but I will never patronize them again, and those who witnessed this episode I’m sure will not either. really a shame, and attributable to really bad training. No pizza is worth the rudeness the patrons of this restaurant endured this evening.
