Took a day trip out to Vancouver today because the Eagles vs Seahawks got moved to Monday. At first I was upset the game got moved, but after checking out the beautiful city of Vancouver I’m so happy it was moved. This spot had a lot of good reviews, and had Brooklyn in the name so I had to check it out. The pizza itself was good, but boring. The sauce and cheese were run of the mill. The crust was thin, but lacked the texture in the undercarriage that you find in a true NYC pizza. My experience in Vancouver was incredible, but there is probably better pizza to be had in the city.

Our first day in Vancouver, we are here. We also ate here on our last day. It is delicious. The spicy sausage is to die for. The sauce is thick and multi-layered and has small pieces of basil and garlic in it. The thin crust is so good and has no flop! The Sicilian and Detroit style were both great, with a slight preference going to the Detroit style. It had more sauce and the crust was a bit better than the Sicilian. That being said, we had 4 totally different pizzas in the 2 trips to AJ's and both trips were excellent. You can't go wrong with their high quality ingredients and atmosphere!

Ordered AJ’s delivery and still has ZERO FLOP. Fresh AJ’s is easily a 9.1. The Detroit is good too maybe 8.2 but the traditional pie is where it’s at.

We ordered a fresh pie and it took 20 minutes to cook in the oven. Best margarita pizza I’ve ever had, fresh and hot from the oven earns it an extra .1. It might have been an 8.6 otherwise! Fresh sauce with a little more oregano than garlic flavour, which I prefer. There’s garlic and olive oil on top anyway. If there’s better pizza to be had here lmk.

I was unde dietary restrictions so I had to get the pesto, and I’m not a pesto guy. But this is a place I’d go out of my way to eat at, would highly recommend

Great sauce! Probably no one is from Brooklyn but the staff is awesome. Sam might be the best server in town actually.
