I really, really want to like this pizza better than I do. This is the fourth time I’ve eaten here, and it’s always the same: I like the fact that it’s cooked well-done, the crust is good, the sausage is decent, but the sauce is bland and almost nonexistent. It’s as though they don’t put enough sauce on to compensate for the heat, and it cooks into the crust, the way it happens on a frozen pizza. This is the rare example of pizza that looks like something I’ll love but doesn’t come close. More sauce could bump it up to a 6.8. More flavor could bump it up into the high 7s.
