I picked this place based on the rating, and overall, I'm a little dissatisfied . I ate the cheese pizza and rated it as follows. Pros: Sauce is a great balance between tangy and sweet, cheese to Sauce ratio was on point,no real grease. Staff was hospitable. Cons: The pizza was floppy and wicked chewy. The crust layed flat a bit. It's NY style, but the pizza wasn't overly thin. I could absolutely do without the cornmeal. I'm not a fan of crusts with cornmeal on the bottom. Work on your crust, and you will definitely check all the boxes with me.

Best pizza in Manchester. Thin crust,light crisp. Nice cheese flavor and a good sauce that isn't weighed down in sugar like so many NH pizzas. You afraid of NH Pres?

Thin slice. Crust/dough had no flavor and tasted a bit burnt. Sauce was average, but needs more cheese for sure. Decent crunch. Definitely overhyped.

Alley cat has been around since the '90s and seems to have a pretty good reputation so I was hoping for a pretty good slice of pie even though I realized I'm in New Hampshire. Lol I asked for my two slices well done and both were still slightly undercooked for my liking. Virtually no crisp throughout the slice until you got right up to the crust. It did have a very enjoyable slightly sweet sauce which I liked but the dough was an issue. Lots of people claim this is the best in Manchester, and that may have been the case decades ago but it's certainly not anymore. Luckily for me I stopped by another place shortly after leaving here and found the best in Manchester guaranteed, which is pizza by rocco !

This is a picture of it from our fridge but when we got it last night it was amazing. The cheese pizza was foldable like real NY style, the cheese was melty and the crust was soft and really good. We also got the s’mores pizza and it was like nothing we ever tried before it was amazing. Will be coming back

One bite everyone knows the rules . Good football pizza , it was a little thinner than I like , not a ton of cheese , sauce is your normal sauce it’s good but doesn’t stand out , nice crisp to the crust , a little Flop which you gotta have , overall a decent pizza , one of the better places in town … 7.5

Way too much flour on the bottom making the crust a little chewy. Did not have the crisp factor. But the flavors are good! Good sauce and cheese combo. The taste is there, but the crust just threw the score off.

Decent cheese, lots of good and sweet sauce. Nice crisp to the crust, but could have been cooked longer. Not a bad pie, much better than I thought I would get in New Hampshire.

Got some alright flip. Not a lot of grease which is a good thing. Very good pizza with good sauce. Crust could be better a little burnt but not bad. Overall a really good slice of pizza

Very good as football pizza. Thin and light. Reminiscent of New York street pizza. Could have been cooked a little longer. Not great but better than most places in New Hampshire.

I did a second review because they’re under new ownership and I’m convinced the pizza isn’t the same and neither is the experience. It’s no longer a hole in the wall, it now has an annoying chain restaurant feeling to it. They say the staff is the same but I only recognize one person. The pizza is thinner and greasier and clearly not as good as before. I now dub Vintage Pizza as best pizza in Manchester.

I risked getting a 500 dollar parking ticket for this slice. That being said, they advertise this as authentic New York style pizza. If that was the case there would’ve been a homeless man trying to sell me a mixed tape of ripped off Travis Scott raps. Overall, good cheese, sauce, and crust fam.

Great tasting combination of sauce and cheese. Asked for mine well done and it still came super doughy. A better crisp brings it closer to an 8. Probably the best football slice I've had in Manchester.
