All-Purpose Shaw

Good D.C spot. I thought the crust was excellent and the cheese was very flavorful. Really an excellent style. It was however, a little bit floppy and cheese heavy on the bottem. If it was a little thinner and more firm, it could have for sure broken the 8s. Overall though, very solid spot

The pesto swirl was a nice touch. Good, not great.

Probably overhyped, cheese pizza was pretty bland. Had another pie with a bunch of topping which was solid, but honestly expected more out of the cheese slice

Very solid slice. Nice crisp to the crust and a good flavor to the sauce. Straight out the oven freshly made. Worth it.

It’s dust dry crust and doughy over-Oregano’ed sauce made this a less than pleasant experience. It’s well made, but did not work for me at all.

Looks like they’re going for date pizza. A decent amount of DC flop. Very greasy in the middle. It’s also doughy as fuck in the crust but crunchy otherwise which leads to some bites being overdone and some just barely beyond raw. The cheese is fairly good but there’s too much of it. I liked the oregano but it’s overpowering the sauce. This pizza definitely got shittier and shittier the more I ate of it.

Alright Frankie, ordered All Purpose Shaw pizza, Pizza is great, and the crust tastes very good, and the red sauce is on the sweeter side, I would definitely recommend trying this place.

Crusty crust

I know, not a traditional cheese, but this is one of the best slices I’ve ever had. The tripper, witch meatballs and mozzarella. If you’re ever in DC, this place is a must.
