Aloy's Italian Restaurant

The most underrated pizza in Poughkeepsie, and love the large, old-school Italian restaurant and bar-area. This pizza is certainly in the top 3 in Poughkeepsie with Emiliano’s on Main Street and Posto on 44. The only minor knock with this pie was that it was a little light on sauce, however the flavor was outstanding and the crust had great undercarriage.

Not your typical pizza. The sauce is the right amount of sweet. The bread/crust has a nice crisp to it. Not too greasy and it’s thin, but not a thin thin type of pizza. I don’t live in the area, but the pizza was really good, that I had to take a pie to take home.

Very thin square. Not your usual expected cheese pie. Cheese has a unique taste. It’s a little salty but has a good flavor to it. Pretty good, all things considered.

It has a thin crispy crust. Outside of that, it didn't blow me away. It's a little greasy and the sauce is lacking flavor. It's okay pizza but not what I was expecting given the previous reviews.

One of a kind type pizza. Super tasty, not your typical pie/crust but the kind that leaves a taste to crave. In being such an unique pie, it’s some of the best in the Poughkeepsie area imo. Definitely worth a shot. been around for a long time

Best pizza in the Poughkeepsie area. And it’s not close. Great crust, sauce and cheese. Little pricey, but worth it.
