Alpha's Hometown Pizza and Pasta

This Chicago style deep dish was unfortunately just not that. While it looked like it, it didn’t taste like it. Crust was not done all the way and the cheese did not pull when a single slice was lifted. Cheese just simply wasn’t melted. It needed like 20 more minutes in the oven. The sauce was good but everything else just wasn’t. Staff deserve a 9.1, they are great.

Very basic but good. Nice crisp, good ratios. Super reasonable prices and friendly folks too.

Small Cheese Pie - $6.99 Quick and simple! Love the sauce and cheese. Crust was very doughy. Could’ve cooked a little longer. Overall I wasn’t disappointed or overly excited.

I’ve had this a few times and sauce is always a scarce commodity. Asked for extra sauce and bacon. Barely any sauce at all. Disappointing but it’s tasty enough. Could improve with some sauce distribution effort.

Good quality Pizza! We tried the NY style crust. We will go back.

They called this a New York style pizza. It was just an okay pie nothing special. For the price the pizza wasn’t worth it for the size or the taste. PS got the wings too and they were burnt with no sauce.

One (or a few) bite impression: cheese could have a bit more flavor, other than that, great pie!

Chicago style pizza didn’t have great flavor. Very sloppy football style pizza. First pie wasn’t made correctly and had to go back and get them to make it correctly. I’m going to give them one more chance with their New York style.

Not a great location, but the inside is much nicer than you’d expect. Nice staff. Typical football pizza. Made me want to go buy a case of Budweiser and watch football all night. Standard doughy and cheesy pie. No betas allowed to eat this pizza.
