Alphonso’s Pizzeria Trattoria

So my wife and I stopped by Alphonso's to grab a slice for Instagram, nothing crazy, just doing our thing. Let me tell you something we were not prepared. I went with the spicy pepperoni slice first. Perfect fold crispy but not dry, that pepperoni got a little heat, cups up nice, grease doing exactly what grease is supposed to do. Sauce had flavor, not sweet, not flat. Dough? Old-school. You can taste the work. Then we said screw it and ordered a full round pie with spicy pepperoni. Big mistake... because now I'm mad this place isn't closer to home. This is one of those spots you almost don't wanna talk about. A real hidden gem. I was in New York City for business and stumbled into something special. No gimmicks. No nonsense. Just damn good pizza made the right way. One bite? Everybody knows the rules.

This pizzeria/restaurant is underrated it’s been around three decades. I had a 3 different Sicilian slices they were amazing, I also had a pepperoni slice delicious😊👍👍👍
