One bite. Everybody knows the rules. Guy below reviewing this pizza joint pretty much ruined it for everyone. Don’t get me wrong, having your pizza delivered looking like that is horrible, but that weak score? Nah. Dude, you know the rules. Your pizza was covered in toppings. Fail. Plain cheese is paramount. Stay in school.
Now, for a review worth taking a gander. Alza Osteria is a classic Italian restaurant, packed with many dishes. I must admit that the pizza is really worth a try. The sauce tasted very original. I found myself somewhat perplexed with the flavor. It’s not your typical run-of-the-mill sauce. Definitely tastes homemade and has a distinct kick. Also, the ratio of the sauce vs cheese was spot-on. Mozzarella was okay to say the least. Dough had some flop, but it honestly wasn’t that bad because the outer crust had perfect crunch.
Overall, this has got to be one of the most unique pies I’ve ever eaten. It’s always these hole-in-the-wall Italian joints that have the good stuff. I’d for sure order this pizza again. Give it a shot, food is delicious. That’s a review.
