Amalfi Pizza

Good pizza. Could have used a little more sauce and a little more time in the oven. Good flavor but a little soft. Salads are great and friendly people.

Popular spot. Good, not great. Crust was super thin with no flop. But not enough sauce. The cheese was being asked to carry too heavy a load, and it wasn’t good enough to carry it home.

Crisp bottom, soft crust, well seasoned sauce, perfect amount of cheese. This slice lived up to the hype for sure

(excuse the bad video quality, it does not do the place justice). crust was fire, had such a nice crisp bottom & cheese to sauce ratio was good, though wish there was a little more of both admittedly because i love me a soupy filled up za - but the lack of that did keep the crust from being soggy, and it was reeeeal good. it’s a tasty af easy-eating pizza that you can down pretty quick imo. will definitely go again

Chicken bacon ranch pizza from Amalfi is my go to pizza. This may not be your cup of tea but this is my review.

Great pizza and all around one of the best Italian restaurants around. Super nice people and great food.

Crisp crust, sweet sauce, good cheese, nice and melted but not burned up. Nice thin pizza, the crust really saves it here.

While certainly not the worst slice of pie on the block, Amalfi’s fails to create a pizza as authentic as its beautiful italian environment. The family is truly attentive and genuine but this does not take away from the fact that the pizza is chewy and boasts a below average flop. In sum, this slice is not bad yet not good.

First of all, this place has the best dough I’ve had in DE so far. There’s a lot of cheese so there’s a heavy flop, but the outside crust is very airy and crispy. This is a must must-try pizza shop. I got the grandma pizza.

Brian says “you can really taste the sauce. Not very complex but it still tastes good” Ryan believes it is the best pizza in Newark Zach adds “and it’s cheaper than Grottos!”

Decent slice. No flop good crisp but is very greasy and has way too much cheese

Quality slice. A bit too greasy on the pepperoni and could be cooked slightly more. However, the bbq pizza is 🔥and had great crunch to it.

Above average slice with a big league flop. Not bad.

Always good here’s. sometimes they leave the slice in the oven too long and you burn your mouth but lol
