Crust was thin and very crunch. Perfectly cooked. The sauce was ok. It needed more flavor. Kind of bland.It needed something else maybe basil or some pesto. The shop was ok. The fountain machine was broken. They had very loud music playing. Not family friendly. The staff was nice though.

Upside down pizza, has more crunch than it looks. Preferred this pizza style, tomato action is quite good. Cheese underneath is a bit overwhelming at times, especially on the specialty regular slices.

I’m scoring very high because this is my kind of pizza- thin crust and simple. If I want want more after a 2nd slice that’s usually 8 and above territory!

If someone asked you to define “pizza,” this is one of the pies you would show them. A straight fastball, right down the heart of the plate, nothing fancy, no gimmicks, just a solid pizza’s pizza. The cheese to sauce ratio is nearly perfect, both fairly generic tasting, but in a good way. The dough is on the thinnish side, but not too thin; however, it could use a little more crisping. The crust has the perfect amount of crisp, lots of crunch in every bite. A little oily, but very manageable. This is your prototypical, very reliable Friday night pie. Add a little more kick to the sauce, crisp up the dough a notch and you’re looking at a sure-fire 8.

New location in Matawan NJ is your typical NY (Brooklyn) style pizza and much better than most NY style found in NJ. The sauce and cheese ratio is perfect and the sauce has a very balanced flavor. Good flop too!
