Amato's Pizza

I got the lunch slice special which ends at 3PM. I got there at 2:55 and they had a few left so my expectations were low. They threw them in to heat them up and crisp the bottom. I thought they were very satisfying considering the above. Thin but not paper thin, crispy enough. Good salty flavor. Light but savory sauce. Good amount of toppings. This is about as standard for Chicago style pizza as it gets, but that’s absolutely a good thing! If it was the nearest pizza spot to my house, it could very well be a go-to.
