Alright Frankie we are at Ambassador Pizza located at 946 bloor st west Toronto ON, (review time Nov 2023) It’s a Windsor Ontario - style pizza tavern in the heart of downtown Toronto. Quick story Frankie , Ambassador Pizza shop was brought together by two Windsorite chefs looking to shake up the pizza game in the 6IX…. The 6ix is slang for 416 … the area code for Toronto… They say If you haven’t heard of Windsor style pizza? then get ready to get immersed in the flavours of the thick, but crispy dough pizza made famous by using Galati cheese - straight from Windsor … the unofficial pizza capital of Canada with a special arrangement that they could use this special cheese straight from Windsor and they made a business out of it … One Bite Everyone Knows The Rule… the cheese is ok , it’s not traditional Italian pizza nor do they want it to be but there’s nothing really that special about this pie and I’m not sure why the prez gave such a big score — ( some say the prez is being bought these days … we wouldn’t , some would, we wouldn’t) the sauce has a good taste and it’s definitely not from a can, cheese is ok , it’s really stringy , Undercarriage had minimal char and the Crust was crispy but overall the pie was too doughy … We try them all we score them 1-10 / one bite everyone knows the rule / bite it / score it 1 thru 10 ~> 6.6 (professional score) “Ambassador Pizza ” good pie about a 45min wait … probably won’t be back , though if we lived near here we would eat it again “Ambassador Pizza ” 6.6 that’s a review ✔️
