Buff chick could use more heat or sauce for my preference. The classic cheese pie is solid

Good looking pizza, tasty crust could be crisper. Nice seasoning throughout. More than a little too greasy. Sauce only made it about 1/3 of the way past the crust, many bites with zero sauce, a big big miss in this aspect. Overall pretty good but some areas could improve a little and the sauce situation could improve a lot.

Could use a little more crisp underneath. Is a bit thick/doughy. Has a decent taste. Overall it’s solid but nothing special.

Amico's is take out only, and doesn't do slices, so I had to order a medium pie. It's New York style which was a nice touch after eating so much of the buffalo style the day before. A nice average thickness crust with pretty good crisp. The kid who made it even took it out of the oven and asked if it was done to my liking, because I had asked him to cook it a little longer. I thought that was a nice gesture and something you don't see everyday. The sauce had some good Tang to it and the cup pepperonis gave it lots of flavor on that side. Good quality cheese as well. I chatted with the owner, who is an older gentleman, while I waited for my pie. You could tell the guy was proud of his business and the history that it has in the Rochester area.

We bought a sheet, so it’s bar cut. Even so, great undercarriage. It’s thin but substantial with great chew and crunchy crust. Sauce has some tang and the cheese has light grease. It’s actually really good, even with toppings - half mushroom and half pepperoni. Great pie.

On my way through Rochester, I noticed on the app that this place had some great reviews, here’s what to expect... Super clean joint and I noticed a dough mixer in the corner (can’t beat fresh dough). Only $8 for 9”. The dough was great as expected, the crust had a nice bite but it wasn’t crispy throughout the entire slice. The cheese stood out here, tons of fresh flavor and certainly the best aspect of this pizza. The sauce was plain and a little bit more watered down than I’d prefer but it was actually alright overall. This is one of the better conventional decked oven pizzas that I have reviewed.

Alright Frankie, no slices here so I had to order a small pie. I’m glad they didn’t have slices bc I had a nice conversation with the owner while waiting. He is a great guy and very passionate about pizza. They have been around since 1962. As far as the pizza, amazing. Fresh ingredients and great taste. Was 8.1 but bumped it up bc of how great the owner was
