When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie that’s a 9.3 Amoreeeee. Big time score. Criminally underrated place in Queens right around the corner from La Guardia Airport. Ya get no more New York than this right here. If you are flying back to new York and you miss the city so fucking much, go to Amore and get a pie, it will bring you to tears. This is a Top 5 place in the City. Not many ppl know about it because they don’t have some broccoli haircut influencer in their shop trying to reinvent the pinwheel. Also it’s a 24 dollar pie and that’s great because it’s affordable, also didn’t have to wait very long either for the pie, and it came out hot. Unlike the rock star chefs at Ceres that are charging an arm and an elf because they make their pizza using sourdough, or Lucali that you have to sacrifice your child to the Illuminati to eat there. No this is an old school pizzeria that has an absolute classic pie. I don’t give out 9’s often, look at my history. Usually my scores when they are in the mid to high 8’s that means it’s great pizza. But I have to 9.3 for Amore. I’m telling you it’s up there with Luigi’s, DiFara, John’s on Bleeker. It’s that special. So if ya picking someone at La Guardia, or if ya flying back in from a place that has inferior pizza, or if ya hanging out by a diner reenacting the first Ray Liotta and Joe Pesci scene in Goodfellas, stop by Amore say hello to the crazy pizza man that doesn’t know any better and the old man that is covered ticket tape because he makes boxes all day.
