We tried the famous thinny thin. It was very unique but delicious. The crust was cheese it had a Parmesan crisp feel and taste. The sauce and cheese were both high quality and the pizza was really good overall. Highly deserved this score.

David I have never been to New Haven but this is the holy f’n grail of bar pie’s. Portnoy DID NOT have the “Thinny Thin”. I seriously think he has to go back and try it. It was unbelievable a must try!!!

Real great pie... I know it’s suppose to come this way but I just can’t get over the no crust... otherwise prob be low 8’s....

The tinny thin pizza is great. Thin crispy crust, sauce isn't overly salty. Like any pizza, especially thin crust, it degrades in the box, so eat it there or in the car. Reminds me of Starlite in West Orange years ago.

Pres was right on the money with this one 8.8. Thiny Thin!!! Love everything about this pie especially the caramelized cheese on the crust.

First and foremost my slices were after a long car ride home (my son brought back). Sauce and cheese ratio + Flavor was really good. I must say not a huge fan on how they use parmigiano cheese crisps on edge of crust. Perhaps when fresh out of the oven it would have been better. But I would go back and give it a real-time review... for now

Ordered the “thinny thin” pizza. As you would expect, it’s paper thin. Great crisp. Lots of flavor between the sauce and cheese. Little bit of Parmesan mixed in too towards the crust.

New pizzeria #2 for 2021. Angeloni’s in Caldwell NJ. The pizza is HYPER thin bar style pizza that is very sauce forward. Reminds me of Quincy’s in West Orange from yearssss ago. The crust has a sense of Asiago to it, which is a pleasant conclusion to the slice. The price point is steep (17.95), but nonetheless it’s a good pie. Dave Portnoy giving this an 8.8 is too much though. I will give this an 8.0 Still a good pie, absolutely worth trying once in the West Essex area.

Super Thin, super light. No joke bar par. Worth trip, cheese all the way to the edge which makes the crust up is what makes it..

Classic large Thinny-Thin. Ordered well-done cause you just can't take that chance in this Pizza game. Crispy crunch with every bite, and just soft enough to remember that you're still eating pizza. Strong under-carriage, NO Flop at all - it just stands up straight. Tight bed of cheese, not a sweet sauce, charred cheesey ends at the crust, cooked perfectly. It's so light that you can easily eat the whole pie on your own. Destination-Pizza for sure. Only thing I'd ask to 86 next time is the oregano. Well worth the 60 minute round-trip.
