Angelo's Coal Oven Pizzeria

This is the third time back and probably the most disappointing. This has been my go to gold standard and sadly just not as great.

Amazing Pie. Split with my Fiancée. Will recommend to any friends traveling!

Legit crisp, low tang sauce tho

Good quality ingredients. Crust was great. Undercarriage was just how you want it from a coal fired oven. Slight flop.

0 flop, super crispy, crunch in every bite. And paper thin I liked it, but I personally love my pizza with more sauce and to be not as thin as paper. Solid sauce, but not my favorite. It is light and I did enjoy it If you’re very much into extremely crispy and thin, this will be hard to beat.

Probably the best pizza i’ve ever had. Calamari was class as well.

Bad night? Bad cook? Alternate universe? This is basically a Neapolitan pie, with scoring starting at 6.8. Good taste and cheese-sauce-crust ratio, but flop city. My score is probably even inflated a bit due how high everyone else’s ratings are. Not even close to a 9.

Very thin and crispy. Impressive. But the crust itself was very crispy and inedible to me. Good flavor in the cheese and sauce. Small slices. Wasn't a lot to each bite.

Great pizza wow. Much thinner than I thought it would be. Saw pictures and I thought with that big puffy crust it would be floppy, but no. Zero flop and nice ass crisp. Fresh ingredients. And the place was pretty empty at like 8:30 which I was surprised to see, being a 9.3. Must go

Excellent thin crust. I rated it .1 behind Lazaro’s because there is a tang in the sauce that wasn’t for me. The crust is spectacular.

Amazing pizza

Had an incredible pizza yesterday rated somewhere 8.2-8.6 I believe. However, this one being a whole number above I had to try. I can easily say it’s the best pizza I’ve had ever. Definitely worth a 2-3 hour drive out to try. But along with that, try the vodka penne. Easy to eat, not too saucy or acidic. 9.5
