Wow! Thin crispy crust was perfect, fresh cheese, the sauce the right tang. This really is good pizza. Dave should pay a 2nd visit, a homage to his first reviews. 😎

Picking it up feels light but you’re first bite you’re hit with some well baked crust and then tangy sauce. Finally punch comes from the cheese which is awesome

Thoroughly impressed. Angelo’s solidified itself as my 2nd favorite spot in the city.

Tried plain and white pies. Terrific classic NY thin slice with perfect sauce to crust ratio. Sauce has perfect balance of herbs and spicy to produce a savory taste. Just enough cheese. Thin and crispy crust. Pizza was as expected considering its great reviews, however no real risks were taken to completely blow our socks off. Still a terrific pizza option in Manhattan.

Pizza is very bland.... Like white person cooking bland an this is hard to believe coming from an Italian restaurant. The only thing that saved this pizza from being a 1 is the fresh mozzarella. Pizza wasn't stable at all couldn't pick up a slice without it flopping upsidedown an losing toppings. Visited last week forgot to take photo without my friends in it.

Best sauce and crust I've ever had on a pizza great taste and texture all around.

Probably would get a higher score of I had it on site. Delivery always takes some of the crisp out of the crust, but loved the sauce. Had that great sweet tomato taste. Good combo and balance with the cheese and the crust had the exact thickness I look for.

Amazing thin crunchy crust with sweet sauce and the arugula is the perfect topping to this coal oven pie. Love the burned pepperonis & perronis :)

Angelo’s coal Fire Pizza: -Crust was perfect -Sauce Flavor was solid and inoffensive (would’ve liked just about an ounce more on the pie) -Cheese was fresh af -basil is a nice touch Only reason it isn’t 9 is because I haven’t had enough great pizza in my life. Need to allow breathing room and if I go back with a little more experience and enjoy it again, I’ll bump it up to a 9. Would recommend highly to anyone who has any interest in eating quality food.

I’ve have pizza all over, ie. John’s on Bleecker, Sally’s in New Haven etc. In my opinion Angelo’s on W 57th st. is by far the best overall NY Coal Fired Pizza.
