In the land of no real edible apizza, Angelo’s is the best. Ask for a char and we especially liked pepperoni. Good takeout pie. We miss Pepe’s, Sally’s and Modern but until one of the 3 kings decided to open in Nashville,Angelo’s will be our takeout place. When we bring home a pie, our ovens with pizza stones are set to 550° and we warm each slice prior to eating. Good sauce, not sweet. Seems to be better ingredients than the rest.

Sauce - delicious Crust - perfect crunch and bite Cheese so gooey you have to use a fork to get the scraps on the plate!! EXCELLENT PIE

I’ll be eating this pizza for three days. It is definitely New York style. It is heavy but delicious. Should’ve got the medium! Could’ve done a little better on the crisp. Other than that…this pizza is very solid.

2nd attempt to eat here, last time they just changed their hours. Got there tonight. Service top notch. Friendly and fast This is not a place you come for fancy atmosphere, this is where you come to eat really good pizza. Pepperoni and ham- great flavor. Loads of toppings. This one was super greasy. Second meatball and sausage- excellent and no grease. Great flavor. Crust would be better without the boatload of toppings. I’ll be back. Even though this is 2 hours away.
