Angelo's Pizza

This pizza used to be the best on the west side of Cleveland 5 years ago. This pizza was a staple piece of Lakewood years ago. Average pizza now

We got the original and it was thick enough for me. It was really good tasting pie. It would be add to the rotation if I lived closer

Good crust. Sauce is sweet. Nice location. Good place to go to if you’re in the area.

Got the deep dish style they’re known for. buttery crisp crust. Sweet sauce. Lots of cheese!!

Sauce is great. Crust is thick but airy, so it isn’t too doughy at all. Provolone cheese is a nice change and goes well with everything. One of the better pizzas I have had. Who would have thunk Cleveland has some good pizza.

Sweet sauce / thick and tasteless crust. People rave about this place… it’s kinda Meh…

Don’t understand the hype with Angelo’s. Whenever I come to Angelo’s I usually get a spaghetti and skip the pizza because it’s mediocre at best. Never placed an order and had under a 30-40 minute wait. Don’t get the hype 🤨

Dave was super generous here. This is horribly OVERRATED. Crust is wayyy too thick and doughy, put Angelo's pizza next to a pizza hut pizza and you're not going to tell the difference. Although, you may enjoy pizza more as they use mozzarella (normal pizza cheese) and Angelo's uses provolone (WTF)

From a Chicago guy, sauce is very sweet. Overall good crust. Needs more cheese.

12’ deep dish cheese pizza. The sauce was average, cheese was fine. But the crust was above average. It was light and buttery. Recommended if you’re a deep dish fan

Very solid pie- not as flavorful as I would hoped. Very well put together. Garlic butter is the bees knees.

The first time I ever had this pizza was in grade school. My school used to get this for our pizza days. Growing up it was my favorite! It is a little heavy now for my liking. Still has a good crunch for thick pizza. The sauce has always been the best part! Also a little too greasy.

Regular style. Football pizza. Sweet sauce. Good crust. Thick cheese

Good crust, cheese was a little sharp and funky for my taste. Seemed like a higher ratio of Provolone and some harder cheese in the blend. The sauce was very sweet, but had a strong oregano after taste. They are very generous with the toppings and their other food is high quality. Not my favorite pizza though.

One bite everyone knows the rules, Angelo's, Lakewood. Deep dish. Crispy, unique sauce and quality topping and cheese. True staple in Lakewood and a must go.
