Angelo's Pizza Pasta and Deli

Great friendly service here, but the pizza isn’t so great. The crust is flat and lifeless, even a bit greasy. The sauce is okay, nothing special. It’s baked on a screen, which to me is a deal breaker. The cheese is mozzarella mixed with provolone, and seemed a bit odd tasting. I’ve had much worse in the DC metropolitan area, but we’re knownore more for crabs than pizza. I make a better pie from scratch in my home.

The people that work there are the nicest people. The crust is almost like a pretzel crust in the way that it is coated on the outside. Zero flop, good flavor, good undercarriage, OK crisp and a tad bit expensive for 12 inch, but in terms of the immediate area are definitely one of the better pizzas around the Norbeck/Georgia Ave area.

Solid football pizza. Little flop, little grease, but overall good pizza.
