Angelo's Pizzeria

It just wasn't great, I don't get it. Every time I visit a place that Dave reviews I agree with Dave's score but not this time. First off the line was out the door and around the corner. We parked like a mile away and then when we got the pizza it was floppy mess. The pepperoni smell and taste was so overpowering my wife said something about the smell as we walk across the street to the park to eat the pizza. The crust was good but that's it. Man I wanted this pizza to be great but this pie for us was unfortunately simply not good. So the question is for me would I come back for another pizza and the answer is NO!

Worth the drive from DE. Pizza was great. Steak was the best I’ve had & it’s not even close.

Good pizza but not as good as I heard it would be. Good cheese good sauce decent undercarriage and solid crust. But the cheesesteak was the best one over ever had in my life I would give the cheesesteak a 9.8 and the pizza a 8.4

Stellar sauce to cheese ratio with an adequate tang, glorious under carriage, dry crust, significant flop. Overall a memorable performance. Also, pepperoni has some character 🤌🏼

After a one and a half year hiatus… I am finally back reviewing pizza. This time, I’m reviewing Angelo’s Pizzeria. My family and I are going on vacation to somewhere in Virginia, Washington DC, Philly, and NYC in that order. While we were in Philly (I’m writing this in NYC) we decided to try Angelo’s Pizzeria. This pizza was unlike any other I’ve had. First of all, it was pepperoni, which I haven’t EVER reviewed, and second, it’s a lot fancier than other pizzas. Along with the pepperoni pizza, I drank Pepsi. This pizza was good. I recommend if you’re in the area. 8.8. That’s a review.

Decent pizza. Was sitting alittle before i got it. Good crust. Everything else seemed basic. Now the cheesesteak! The complete opposite! Phenomenal 9.5!

Went here during wrestlemania. It was chaotic. The cheesesteak is probably the best, but the pizza leaves more to be desired. Super greasy. May be just an off day because they were super busy.

Good NOT GREAT. Not in the video but their cheesesteak with coopers sharp was mouthwatering. Their Grandma pie is also a lot better and that deserves a 9.1 for sure!

Unbelievable hype surrounding this pie. Unbelievable disappointment. I don’t even remember tasting sauce to be honest. Overcooked cheese city. I guess the texture overall was nice and crispy. Now, for full transparency, I didn’t have it fresh out of the oven; it had to travel a little bit, but still—the flavors should have still jumped out at me if this was really as good as everyone says it is. Cheesesteak was elite though.

Best pizza in PA.

Was a cold day and by the time we walked 3 blocks to eat, it wasn't as hot as I would have liked - was still very good though, will go back this summer

The pizza tour continues. Great, great pizza. Don’t think it’s quite in the 9s, but it’s very much in the conversation. Amazing crisp and crust, undercarriage to die for, nice thickness. Pretty greasy though, and started to get some flop pretty quickly. Overall excellent, excellent za
