Forgot to rate the round pie at angelo’s. Danny didn’t make the dough that day so I’ll have to retry but always great

Great pizza! No flop, crust is a bit dusty but crispy. Good ratio sauce and cheese!

OK!? off of Daves one bite review, my soon to be wife and i had to try. We went on a Wednesday around 6pm. we called in our order which at first all we got was a busy signal eventually we got through. We ordered one plain pie and one margarita pie. Im not sure if it was the anticipation, the wait, the build up but once we got our pizza we did the one bite challenge and at first we tried the plain. The plain cheese pie in my opinion needed more sauce and cheese the crust was tasty but the pie didnt leave much of an after taste. Eh! the margarita pie had more flavor and crisp. The only problem that i had with the margarita was that it was sloppy and the cheese and sauce seem to slide right off the pizza. But it had a good after taste along with good flavor. If you're in philly you should try four sons pizza on frankford ave Cumberland street in Kensington.

First things first: the pepperoni is VERY good. A nice kick of spice lingers after a good bite of it. Great topping. I feel the cheese leaves a bit to be desired. There should be more of it. Not much sauce either. The crust is light and flaky making it better than most and I’m not a crust guy. Overall the pizza is solid, but it doesn’t do much to separate itself from the other pizza giants of the city. I’m not sure where others are coming from with the outlandish ratings. If I had to wait for this pizza I would have been fairly disappointed, but since I went on a Tuesday it was a standard 20 minute wait so no problem. Do yourself a favor and get the cheesesteak here, probably a top 5 steak in the city.

Did not live up to the hype. Called 118 times before I was able to place my order. We have tried twice before and called 370 times but couldn’t get through. Would rather just get a pizza lunchables.

Great pizza no doubt but not even close to the Titans of the industry. Like a great blowjob but she didn’t lick the balls.

🍕cheese pizza 💰 $20 cash only 🤔 this is so incredibly overrated. Not enough sauce & way over hyped. Super disappointed

Formerly Angelos of Haddonfield they moved here in 2019. We drove from S.Jersey to S.Philly to pick up an Upside Down pie and 3 Sandwiches (Boom, Cheesesteak, & The Pops). The pizza was good but the crust was a bit fluffy and not as crispy as I would have preferred. This could’ve been the result of the travel time (30min) but I don’t think so. They offer many different types of pies and this is just one. I’ll definitely be coming back and I’m positive their other pies will grade higher based on their reviews and pics. Overall a great experience and I’d highly recommend taking the trip no matter where you’re from. It’s a cash only spot and they are open until they sell out! We ordered at 2:30 Friday afternoon and it was busy. The sandwiches were all great!

Dave does not lie. Best pizza I’ve ever had. The crust was perfectly cooked. The cheese got married together perfectly. The basil on top set it over the top. The guys inside were so nice which made the experience that much better.
