Angelo's Pizzeria

Finally! Angelo’s Pizzeria located in South Philly - my old stomping grounds! Stop what you’re doing, get some cash, and go get in line! This pizza is fu@$!*g spectacular!! Undercarriage to die for! Perfectly crisp with zero flop and a nice amount of char. The sauce is incredible and super fresh, had a hint of sweetness and bursted with complex flavors! The best part, it was in every bite that I took right up to the crust - masterful The cheese was so smooth, perfectly stretchy, flavorful and there wasn’t a ton of it, which is straight up my alley! I even enjoyed the basil thrown on top of the pie - it melted into every bite and added an extra little something that I for sure enjoyed Bottom line is, you can no longer just come to Philly to grab cheesesteaks and watch the Eagles lay the smack down on some candy ass - you now have to plan to come and grab a pie from Angelo’s 9.1 - best pizza in the city and one of the best I’ve ever had
