Visited Philly from Australia, made our Uber driver take us to Angelos after seeing Dave’s review. Was not disappointed. Great undercarriage, cheese, and I’m a fan of basil. You’re spoiled for great pizza in the States, hard to find this quality in Australia. The cheesesteak was out of control too. First time I’ve ever had a Philly cheesesteak, and I believe it’s all downhill after this one!

Had amazing potential… Great crisp, great undercarriage, zero flop, melt your face off…. But… I think the sauce was lacking and the biggest hit against it… I think they overworked my dough! Imma have to try this again sometime. After that great crisp you had to chew and chew on the dough, like over worked bread. Still a great pie.

What an experience to get to try this legendary pie! We waited in the rain and it was so worth it and even added to fun! By far the crispiest but not burnt pie I’ve ever had. You can taste the quality and care put into this pizza. Also, give their classic cheesesteak an 8.9

This was hands down the best crust I have ever had. The pizza was amazing and I went straight from the airport to here. I got a Philly as well which was definitely the best I have ever had.

Real deal pizza from a bucket list spot. Does it match the hype…probably not. But among the best you can get. It’s great, just not life-changing in the 9’s. Spot on crust, perfect sauce cheese ratio and quality. Busy Saturday but came out hot and fresh. Overall a must try if you’re in Philly.

Very Delicious! (Shout out to any Velcren reading this). Cheesesteak was a 9.9 though.
