Anthony Jr's Restaurant & Pizzeria

Another pizza where the sauce just throws it off for me. It was very bold tasting and not in the way I like it. It was a heavier pizza with a crust dosed in flour. The cheese wasn’t bad, but the underwhelming sauce provided most of the flavor on this pie. The western side of Pittsburgh is kind of dry when it comes to pizza places.

Good flop. Minimal grease. lost a little for lack of consistency on topping distribution. Overall good pie.

I was home. My brother had just got back from the old house, cleaning it out, since we just moved. My phone was at 4% so I went upstairs to charge it. While it was at about 20%, I went downstairs to see my mother there, waiting for me so we could try out this pizza place in the area. “Anthony Jr’s Pizzeria” was the name of the place. We left the house and drove to Anthony Jr’s Pizzeria, and it was not far. We got an XL pizza, with 12 slices. I ate 2.5 slices, and then thought of my rating. 8.6. That’s a review.

Pretty good pie. Good crust, cheese and sauce. Lil crispy. The service was pretty shitty though.

Slight flop with little char. Really good cheese and savory sauce. Really good local spot compared to others.

Solid pizza great atmosphere worth the try

Wasn't super impressed. Cheese had a weird texture and fell off right away. Crust was pretty good and this pizzas saving grace.
