Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings

I’ve had this pizza at another location and it was great. This one not so much

Back again so I could show the pizza this time. Went up a point because it came straight from the oven this time.

The coal fire adds a nice flavor to the crust but the pizza was a bit doughy and had a Florida flop

Was told Anthony’s was supposed to be ”one of the” best in town Not quite. The positives; Great flavor in the sauce and dough. The negatives: Can’t really hold a topping. Sauce a little watery, doesn’t hold well. Cheese is lacking and uninspiring. Slightly better than average pizza.

Florida flop is a bit much since Anthony Bruno sold Anthony’s. Took a major step down... still decent pizza though.

Went with pepperoni & sausage. Tangy sauce. Crispy crust. Good pizza.

Margarita pizza without basil? Taste was alright mozzarella was stretchy, sauce decent, but forgetful
