Pizza Review
This plain slice would be rated much higher based on delicious sauce, but this was some of the worst crust I’ve ever had. Extremely chewy and the pizza did not seem fresh. Not going to score the lasagna slice to the right, as the only sauce on there is what’s visible... it was basically cheesy bread

Pizza Review
Place has been here for as long as I can remember. Definitely not the original owners anymore. I don't know when they left. But this is an average tasting slice, I'll tell you why: First, the crust is super thin. That's good. But unfortunately it's so thin the whole slice collapsed. I had to eat it in two parts. There's too much mozzerella for this crust to handle. And when I got to the cornicione, it had a breakstick quality to it. It's like medium cooked toast, no aeration. There's not much sauce to speak of. But what there is is straight from the can without seasoning. Couldn't detect garlic, oregano, basil, it's just tomato puree and salt. It wasn't that there was too much cheese in general, is just that the slice I got couldn't support it. It was a greasy mess of what I'm guessing was full day low moisture mozzerella. The pie they took this slice from looked pretty new. It had a light sheen of oil on it when they pulled it from the counter. I don't dock points just because a pie is a bit oily. I dock points when there's an unappetizing amount of grease and it's a mess. After it was warmed in the oven, that's exactly what it happened. I'm almost done reviewing every pie in my hometown. They're not listed on the app but I've had Taormina and D&M Deli pizza too. Just gotta write a review for Gleason's. Anyway, can't even rate a pizza a 7 with these structural issues. I'd take messy if it's flavorful. The fact that it wasn't flavorful either and the crust was subpar had me docking major points.
