Best pizza hands down nothing but the original

Absolutely incredible slice. Let me just start off by saying travel here and get the tomato pie slice. The inside looks like Roberts lounge from Goodfellas and that it hasn’t been updated since the 70s/80s. Owner is authentic and cool as fuck. The pizza was crisp. There was a ton of sauce and it was absolutely incredible. Great cheese blend. Cooked to perfection. This is a hidden gem.

0 flop with great crunch. A little greasy but not bad. The sauce and cheese are good. The vibes are unique and the owner is a character. Pleasant surprise. Yet another JM sliced pizza Sicilian- Sauce - excellent not sweet but perfect combination of tomatoes and spices Dough- real nice, excellent taste, crispy out side, pillowy inside Cheese seems nicely fresh, subtle and allows other components to compliment 7.9 Tomato pie Sauce- I’m biased towards sweet sauce and this is all tang, much less spice, but very nice Dough- taste and crunchiness excellent Cheese subtle and fresh 7.6 Plain slice Main score for this particular slice, not an average Really terrific. The taste jumps out which is rare for plain slices Cheese- again subtle and fresh Sauce - void of sweet flavor, all tang, hint of spice, really good Dough- does the job. Not excellent but strong enough execution that it doesn’t matter Ratio- perfect Execution- excellent Chelsea Clinton said, “I’ll make my own way, regardless of how famous my parents are.” This place warrants a bit more notoriety. It’s not in the league of best of the best. Maybe it’s debatable if this is travel worthy. But it’s quite good. The owner is a character and the absolute real deal. You have to visit just to meet the owner. He broke my balls, and it was certainly justifiable to do that. Awesome guy. 7.9 on the plain

It is unimaginable and unthinkable that Anthony’s Pizza Town has such a low score on this app. Clearly there are forces aligning against this great American by way of Italy to alter the vote counts. Blame big media. Blame big pizza. SAD! A fixture in this part of New Jersey since 1977, Anthony’s was the first taste of pizza many of the hicks in this area had. He is high energy, making fresh dough and sauce every day. Tony, and only I can call him Tony, is such a fantastic guy. Quite possibly the best Italian I’ve ever met and trust me, I’ve met a lot of them. Any time your Pizza President is in town, I’m drawn to the big flashing neon lights of Pizza Town. It reminds me of my great casinos in Atlantic City. And just like they were shining beacons of success in that dump by the ocean, so is Anthony’s Pizza Town.

Crisp heard around the world! Very well cooked. Thicker slice so don’t count on slamming a whole pie. Cheese to sauce ratio was good. Sauce was on the sweet side which some people love. Solid slice!

Exactly what I expect when I crave a good slice of pizza. Go a few minutes early and grab a Miller draft.

They unfortunately don't have a large variety of individual slices, so we opted to get a large pie. My golly gosh is this a tasty slice. Delicious sauce and relatively thick dough. Crust is also great. I really did not have great expectations for Anthony's Pizza Town, with the old-fashioned flickering sign facing the highway, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the results. They also sell beer there and have a couple small TVs, so if you wanna drink your misery away and enjoy some good pizza in a divey place, you found your answer.

Very interesting locale. Sells booze which is always a plus. Looks and feels like an old time hangout. Friendly staff. Now onto the pizza. Little bit of flop. Very cheesy. Not too crispy unfortunately. But good pizza nonetheless.

the last time i was at Anthony’s pizza town was when i was like 13 and forgot about how it tasted, gotta admit its better than i expected, has great flop and full of flavor, a bit greasy and also a little too small of a slice but other than all of that pretty solid.
