I liked this more than Michele’s. Again more delicious fresh mozz, higher quality dough that had integrity and the tomatoes were fresher. I liked this one a lot. Also cool that this place gave birth to the ancestors of Lombardis and John’s of Bleecker of NY. Two of the first NY pizzerias to exist.

One bit everyone knows the rules. Antica Pizzeria Port’Alba in Naples, Italy is considered by many to be the birthplace of pizza. Originally opening in 1738 as a small pizza stand. Since then, it has failed to keep up with the modern age pizza. The excessive demand takes away from the individual care each pizza needs, causing a bit of an undercooked undercarriage of the pie. However the ingredients still taste fantastic and incredibly fresh. 6.6

Trash pizza. Soupy and bland. Hundreds of places do better in Napoli so don't waste your time.

Solid pizza, this pizzeria is considered to be the first pizzeria of the world. It’s absolutely incredible, the dough is soft all the way till the crust. The mozzarella is so fresh you can smell and taste the milkiness of it. The tomato sauce has super fresh ingredients and you can even feel semi solid chunks of tomatoes in the sauce! The pizza is so light even after eating the whole pizza I ordered a whole full pizza and finished it and had a cannoli right after and did not feel bloaded at all. Ate here almost every night through out my stay in Napoli.
