Antonino's Original Pizza

Ordered a king pepperoni and a large cheese. Well done, crisp and good undercarriage on both. It's so far our Windsor favorite 🍕 🍕 👍

When this pizza came out I was expecting a big score from the look smell. However it definitely disappointed. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza. The crust did have a nice crunch and flavor. The pizza had plenty of sauce but it lacked flavor or depth. A fair amount of cheese but again it lacked flavor. That brings me to the shredded pepperoni which I am told is a Windsor thing. There was plenty of the pepperoni on the pizza but it was quite bland. We ordered all meat pizza as well which was slightly better offering more flavor. It took well over an hour to get the pizza out to our table. We however were told that when ordering but it was definitely too long to wait for this pizza. For a place that has been around since 1959 I was expecting a big score however it definitely fell short.

The best that Windsor has to offer. Thinner than standard and with a good crisp. Antonino's uses an Arrabbiata sauce on its pizzas which give you a spicier bite than you might otherwise be expecting, but this is a good thing in service of a fuller flavour profile, and is paired well with the absurdly high fat content Galati cheese that comes as a standard for Windsor style.
