Pizza Review
I’m not sure what nationality runs this joint, but I know it’s not Italian, and it shows. On the bright side, it’s a fairly thin pie, decent tasting dough, somewhat firm but a little rubbery. The biggest problem is the sauce is absolutely FLAVORLESS. I can’t tell if it’s tomato paste or ketchup but there are no spices or anything even remotely providing flavor to this pie. The cheese is also generically tasteless, you can hardly tell it’s there except for the texture, but it’s completely void of flavor. Overall, it certainly looks like pizza, smells a little like pizza, but if you were blindfolded you couldn’t be sure you were eating pizza. However, this pie can actually be salvaged if you dump on some garlic powder, Parmesan & crushed red pepper, but to enjoy good pizza, you shouldn’t have to. This is bottom of the barrel Stamford pizza.
