Apizza Grande

Best cheese ratio of any pizza I’ve had. Probably done 20 of these. Crust is a bit hard/overcooked to my liking. Jaw is going get tired trying to chew this stuff. But for me. The taste of the pizza itself is overall very good. Ranking it as one of my favorites, despite being over cooked to me.

Let me start with the crust. I can’t figure out how they get the crust thin, crisp, chewy and airy all together, but it works great. Sauce has a good tomato tang but seems to be lacking spices. Cheese is mediocre . Not one of my favorites but not at all bad.

I live in Branford & while this place my not be Sally’s or Pepe’s, it is so far the best pizza I have had in CT that is North or East of Wooster Square/East Rock. The toppings are what make it just as great. Sausage is actually fresh.
