Arcaro and Genell, Old Forge, PA

Matt and Moms bday pizza, it’s really good quality especially the crust, the regular pizza is a little mild with flavor for my taste but it’s more mozzarella like a traditional pizza, so people that don’t like regular old forge American cheese style and robust sauce will like this one more (including Em who came here with her grandpa all the time for the double crusted white). The sweet sauce is the favorite though, it’s new and Matt and I agree, Seth Nathan and mom prefer hot honey pepperoni which was also really good.

Closer to traditional pizza than other places in the area, and still has a flavor of its own. The dough is so fresh. It holds the generous sauce and cheese. Don’t forget to take a picture at the monument.

Pretty not great. I really didn’t get the hype. Dough was mid only slightly crispy, the cheese was as okay, but the sauce was TRASHHHHHH! Tasted like lunchable pizza sauce. It was so bad. Change the sauce asap.

Easy 8 . The 7’s are too low for this . I see a lot of high scores being thrown around for garbage product . I’m shocked that Dave didn’t score this higher based on some of the high scores he’s given out for sub par pizza. We were coming home from Syracuse and stopped in old forge . This was the only joint opened on the block at the time . I’m glad it was. Excellent pie. Nice crisp . Good sauce and cheese . Had a familiar taste I can’t put my finger on . But original for sure . I’m sick of eating all the generic supposed NY slices . This place has a taste and style unto itself . The cheese is nice and creamy . Sauce has great flavor . Not overwhelming, not overly salty. Kinda of a smooth sauce . People inside were nice . Make sure you order at least 50 minutes in advance . Roughly a two hour drive from Philly area . To me it would be worth it if I was bringing home more than one and freezing some for later .

Not rating the white pizza which is great but that’s another scale. This is great, thin and crisp, different yet same taste as others. Excellent spot.

By far the crispiest and freshest pizza in Old Forge, but that’s not a hard thing to accomplish. It’s like when a family member shows u a picture of their ugly baby, u have to be nice and say they’re cute. They Seem like good paison’s so being generous and saying it’s “cute”. Skip old forge, it is a Dave created tourist trap. 6.4 is generous.

Only a few left, good stuff! Love the softness as you bite into it and finishes with the crunch! Pretty good sauce too.

“Pizza capital of the World” is a pretty bold statement. Had my wife with me, and she isnt a big fan of pizza, so i could only try one spot, and i chose this one based on it having the most reviews. As undercooked and heavy as it looks, the dough is nice and crispy on the bottom and super light. The sauce was just red and pastey, the cheese was mehhhh. I could see this “Old Forge Tray Style” being a local favorite, but i’ve tried a lot of pizza, all kinds of styles, and this is just not vibing with me. I had to give it a 7 for the crisp and airy dough.

Little flop, not super crispy but overall not a bad slice

Good pizza. Unique. First time having “Old Forge” style pizza. Pleasantly surprised. I boosted it .2 because Donald Trump ate here and the restaurant is proud of it. #TRUMP2024

Wonderful sauce. Crust has a nice crispness on very bottom but too doughy on top. Cheese was very bland. Reminds me of a slightly thinner Detroit style.

Got the white and red. White was unreal good, so different. I think they use American cheese? Red was good, buttery crust.
