Fancy pizza. Falls within the normal Neapolitan range. Very thin, with some big flop in the middle. Sauce is excellent. Popping tart tomatoes, but the amount of it is pretty stingy. Nice fresh cheese, but only covers about half the pizza. A nice little sprinkle of basil. It’s funny, all the component parts are great, the coverage of them on the dough is just so sparse it takes away from the pie.
Bonus garlic knot review: For all the shortcomings of the pizza, the knots are loaded. Gobs of cheese, served on a plate of delicious sauce, and do I detect some lemon zest in there? 8.9. Before I start sounding like too much of a food snob. Get the supreme knots.
