Armando's Pizza Bar

This Detroit style is the offensive lineman. Looks heavy but is light on their feet.

Still the second best in Windsor proper, but Armando's flagship location has taken a step down in quality since their corporate chef, Dean Lister, moved to his own location in Amherstberg. Considering Lister is probably the best pizzaiolo working in Canada right now this should not come as a surprise. If you can get out to the Amherstberg location, you should absolutely do so. If you're stuck in Windsor, I'd still marginally recommend Antonino's over Armando's but this location will still almost never disappoint.

Very consistent great flavors I find with the shredded pepperoni and quantity applied the flavor of the pepperoni and texture overpowers but still delicious. Crust and cook is always good.

The 9.4/10 score goes to the Wood-style pizza. The crust has that crunch, cooked to perfection. It’s amazing that I can put this many topping on a pizza and not feel overwhelmed. Every bite gives the feeling of fireworks exploding in my mouth like that Ratatouille scene. Toppings: 1. Chicken 2. Tomato 3. Spinach 4. Banana peppers 5. Onions 6. Mushrooms 7. Ricotta droplets 8. Balsamic Vinegar

Good pizza a bit too doughy, cheese and sauce are very good and crust has a nice crisp to it
