Thin, but floppy crust. Good clean sauce. Very cheesy. The Margherita pie has a decent mix of flavors with the ricotta, mozz, and basil. Not enough of a bread profile here to balance the other two elements. 6.3

Very pricy first off. The taste is unique definitely something different. Very salt, decent crust, huge slice. Vodka slice is good. Not a traditional slice but worth a try.

Fresh ingredients but the slice was a little discombobulated; first off, it was huge, but was also oily and the crust was breaking off in different sections. All in all, however, the quality was good, landing this slice in the seven-range.

The mozzarella to top it off really solidified the solid score!

Artichoke pizza slice. -A bit of flop but that's expected as you have 5 lbs of Artichoke Alfredo sauce on a thick piece of dough. Hope you bought your bib because this is a messy one. - Cheese to Sauce:. Overwhelming amount of mozzarella plus Artichoke plus secret ingredients sauce. Even with the thick dough, it feels like a 5 lb weight. You only need to order one slice . -Taste: An explosion of flavors. It really is savory and your mind will literally try to analysis the sauce makeup and yet, your mouth cannot stop eating it. You need to ear this with a fork and knife. With the nice charcoal on the bottom with the regular crust, I will gladly take people here who want this time of Pizza.

Apparently this place has fallen downhill according to the ratings but the 1st Avenue location is the best and you must get the pepperoni, meat lovers and Margherita. Tons of flavor, big slices with a non traditional sweeter sauce. Great flavor profile even if there is a little flop and clumpy sections of tomato. Top 10 in the city.

Pro move here is to avoid the artichoke pizza and grab a pepp. Can’t beat them!

Alright, Frankie. Artichoke Pizza on E 14th has some of the best pizza in New York. Instead of opting for the go-to Artichoke slice, I decided to go Vodka Sicilian and Regular Sicilian. Both slices were perfectly cooked through, and were not doughy at all, something man Sicilian slices fall victim to. The crust was as crunchy and well done as you can get, without it being actually burnt- just the way I like it. One thing I was most impressed with, was my lack of desire to dress either slice. Never once during any of my bites did I find the need for some garlic powder or crushed red pep. I do not like messy pizza at all, if I wanted to make a mess I would play in some dirt. Artichoke Pizza does an excellent job of keeping these slices together by not overdoing the cheese or sauce. Folks this is the type of pizza that makes you smile, and wish you had more. Highly recommended.

Damn good slice fresh ingredients. Crust was a little too crispy for me but a damn good slice if you are in the area.

Really good slice with a crispy crust and excellent sauce. Hard to beat but the tough crust brings it down .5

It was solid, but the low point of this pizza tour. Nothing exciting or different.
