Artichoke Basille's Pizza

I was pleasantly surprised at how good their cheese pizza is when the place is known for their artichoke pizza. Fresh sauce, good cheese, and crisp all the way through! Also, the slice is large.

Score for the Margherita slice only. However, it is representative of that naughty crab slice. It kinda works, but really strange.

Sauce is great needs more cheese

I had no idea what I was getting myself into on this trip to Hoboken as I was here December 18th of 2021, which was the Santa bar crawl. Never was this more evident than when I tried to get a slice from artichokes, as for whatever reason every buzzed college-age girl / guy must have wanted to get a slice at the exact same time. To say it was hectic in here was the understatement of the century, as it was as packed as a New York City subway! This is supposed to be their standard cheese slice but looks more like a margarita to me. Who knows, the employees were just trying to get everyone in and out as fast as possible so it very well could have been miscommunication. Well hard to tell in the picture I included, the slice was absolutely massive! Pretty good flavor overall in a nice light crust with a decent amount of crisp as well.

Nice crisp to the crust zero flop. I wish it was little lighter and airy. The cheese is nice not greasy and the sauce has a nice tang to it.

Some scary stuff right here, I don’t know what psychopath would actually call this pizza. Super oily and should be called quiche

Some of the best pizza I have ever had. Really different, but amazing.

Terrible. Shockingly unlike pizza. Disgrace to the concept. Closer to cheesy bread than pizza. Crust tasted like they took the idea of “pizza pie” too literally; flaky trash. 4 was generous because I liked the idea of their artichoke pie, but even that was poorly executed. Spare yourself the expense.

Wasn’t very impressive. The slice just broke apart in your hand and too much garlic powder.

Just alright pizza. Despite being in the box for 10 minutes on my walk home, it still lacks memorable sauce and the cheese was OK at most. Score factors in the being victim to the box for so long.

Fine slice, not worth the wait though.

Was ok. Crust was the worst part. Totally inedible.
