Artichoke Basille’s Pizza

Crust is crispy and the sauce is excellent.

I do not know what everybody is talking about. This is the best pizza in New York. The sauce is amazing the cheese is really good and the crust is absolutely incredible.

Really really solid slice. Well-made, fresh ingredients. A little too much sauce, but had a nice charred undercarriage. I’m sure if I had gone to flagship location and gotten fresh, it would have been low 8’s. Still, I am going to get slices from here a ton.

Let me start off by saying I love the actual artichoke slice and it's one of the most delicious and innovative slices. That being said...this plain slice was a disgrace. Sauce was eh and the pizza was loaded with it. Crust is crumbly and mediocre. It's also super expensive ($6.52 for a cheese slice?!?!?). I dont know if it's just this location...but massive disappointment.

Horrible pizza. Not sure why the hype. From the pic you can clearly see the cheese wasn’t even melted when they gave it to me. Oven must have been off. I bit in and it was cold. Like a grocery store frozen pizza. One of the worst slices of my life. I’d perhaps give it another go if they could get their ovens working, or their staff to know what a properly warmed up slice of pie looks like.

Inconsistent slices. Slice on the left was a solid 7.7 but the one on the right was a 4.2. Sauce was good, but the main problem was the damp crust. There’s probably a reason Dave hasn’t been here yet.

Crust had a solid crunch and the sauce and cheese were pretty good

Not your regular cheese slices but got to admit it definitely worth the trip to the city. Good bed of sauce. If you think about it the Artichoke taste like a grilled cheese.
