this guy walked in just now and said, “hey I just moved in.. you’ll be seeing a lot of me..” and then left without even buying a slice. what the hell man, get a slice. Anyway, this place always scores a solid 8.7/8.8, but today that rude guy knocked a few tenths off for me.. there’s a big michigan bar called Brady’s across the street, so when Dave can come slum it uptown to watch a game and teach the locals some pizza manners, this corner joint will be open with the goods.

This pizza has good and bad parts to it. The bad is the ratio of cheese is off. More cheese is not always a good thing especially when it’s greasy cheese. A slight flop and a decent undercarriage make it plus and serviceable. The crust is well done and crispy.

Classic slide. No flop and just enough crisp throughout. Sauce is very tasty and boosts the score, but the grease and bad cheese to sauce ratio could be better. Good slide!

All right. Corner of 85th and York. I have to say not bad. Just a classic New York slice. Decent flavor, decent sauce, decent crust. No New York flop. A little bit greasy and the dough was a little bit undercooked but all in all a pretty darn good slice. Specially since they do a two for five with a soda. Until 6 PM you can’t beat that. Pretty impressed. I want to give an even seven although I never give even scores
