Aurelio's Pizza Naperville

One of the best pizzas you will ever have. This location can be off sometimes, but when they’re on, it’s as good as anywhere. Dave giving the Homewood location a low score is questionable. He likes a certain type of pizza, but he should not be rating it based on that. He should be rating it based on taste, and Aurilios makes a delicious tasting pizza. It’s also unique and Aurilios has its own taste. I got the Chicago gold standard pizza, cheese and sausage. It was so good my mouth was leaking drool, that’s how tasty it was. Anyone that says differently needs to get their head checked. This is as good as any pizza you will find anywhere. Perfectly cooked, nice cracker thin crust, sweet sauce and some of the best sausage and cheese anywhere. This is the way

Well this is disappointing. The pizza seems to have actually been over cooked and has lost much of the flavor.

So damn good, thin crust is the way to go

Alright Frankie! As close to perfect as one can get. This is by far and away my favorite pizza places of all time. They have a few locations now which is great as I haven’t been able to get it like I would like otherwise. The sauce. The crust. The cheese. Hands down people. This is the place to get your pizza. One bite everyone knows the rules!

The sauce really is Aurelio’s claim to fame here. Thick cheese, plenty of toppings. I eat the GF crust which is a little doughy. If this were the traditional thin crust, it’d be a 7.

Aurelio’s has been one of my favorite spots since I was 16. The sauce is king here. It’s sweet, and may not be for everyone but it is absolutely the gold star winner for me. The crust is crispy and has its own flavor as well that I haven’t really tasted from any other pizza place. The only weak spot I’d say is the cheese. Nothing special about it, but it’s definitely not bad. Another thing is the price. A medium pie is about $20 which is a little high, however this is definitely quality restaurant pizza. 8.8, will eat again.
