Avellinos Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

This is the best pizza you’re going to get in Blacksburg. That’s partially due to the lack of good options for high quality pie elsewhere, but this place is very good. It’s a NY inspired pie, thin and crispy. The slice has good structure so it’s easy to handle. It’s not the most flavorful pie out there, but it does have some flavor, and it’s very good. The only slight problem they have is that a regular pie doesn’t come with very much tomato sauce, so I’d recommend asking for extra, because it is a good tasting sauce. Overall, the texture of this pie is right up my alley, I just wish it was a little more flavorful.
